Job description

Our client, a global media company, is looking for an Financial Data Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview:
  • Contract Role:4-5 months
  • Pay:$48-52/hr W2 (No C2C)
  • Schedule: Fully onsite, 9am to 6pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch
Responsibilities:
  • Perform data validation and data mapping for a large ERP mapping project
  • Partner with development and integration teams in the design and implementation of the new ERP system
  • Assist with planning the migration of data from Oracle to new ERP system
  • Assist with the monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and budget planning
  • Build and maintain financial models
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business concentration is required
  • 3-5 years of financial data analysis experience (data validation & mapping, pulling & manipulating from large data sets)
  • 1-3 years of FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, modeling, etc.)
  • Prior experience working in the entertainment, media, or broadcasting industry is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
  • Experience with Oracle Financials and Cognos TM1 preferred
