Position Description
Title: Financial Analyst II
Department: Finance
Immediate Supervisor: Finance Manager
Status: Exempt Salaried
Position Purpose: The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.
Principle Accountabilities
  • Responsible for consolidating reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, reoccurring meetings and providing regular system maintenance for companies various manufacturing locations across North America.
  • Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business units
  • Serves as primary point of contact for plant accounting staff.
  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensures that financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to manager.
  • Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Any and all financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models
  • Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP softwares, such as LV and JDE, preferred
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred
  • Experience with SQL, preferred
  • Must be results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload
  • A strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challenges
  • Must be a team player with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
