Job description

Position: Data Analyst IV
Location: 1800 SW 1st Ave., Suite 600, Portland, Oregon 97201
Responsibilities: Perform data analysis to identify bottlenecks, define optimization opportunities, and support data driven decisions. Collect business intelligence data from internal data warehouses using MS SQL SMS and perform testing and validation of data sets. Analyze data using statistical methods and corresponding tools, including, but not limited to correlation analysis, regression analysis, process mining, MS Excel, MS Power BI, and Disco. Investigate business processes and find opportunities for their optimization. Analyze and document current workflows, collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points, use data to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for improvement, and lead data analysis projects to optimize processes and enhance the user experience. Follow the CorVel Development process in AzureDevOps, define project objectives and timelines, use analytical tools to extract actionable insights, and manage progress, and sprints within Azure DevOps. Communicate analysis results to stakeholders, propose and align on solutions, and create clear reports and gather feedback.
Educ./experience: Four (4) years of experience as a Data Analyst, or in a related position providing stakeholders with data analytics to support recommendations/decisions and track progress. Experience must include Data analysis using statistical methods and tools including correlation analysis, regression analysis, predictive modeling, and Power BI; Statistical project models depicting current trends and forecasting project KPIs, Net Revenue, Distribution, Profit (NOPBT) and market share; End-to-end project management, and data analytics to support recommendations, decisions and track progress within projects.
