Our client seeks a Principal Data Analyst, Data Products to lead enterprise data governance, quality, reporting, and analytics. The role drives transformational change through innovative solutions, establishes documentation standards, and provides strategic consultation to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. The position mentors consultants and aligns initiatives with organizational goals across the Enterprise Data landscape.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee enhancements for enterprise data quality, management, and storage.
  • Lead initiatives to improve data profiling, exception reporting, and issue resolution for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Architect analytics dashboards and develop predictive models to support data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide data governance policies aligned to regulations and best practices.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions to prioritize data management improvements.
  • Oversee data validation processes for critical reporting to ensure integrity and reliability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop consultants while fostering innovation and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on long-term data management and analytics strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate advanced data practices across business units.
  • Serve as a thought leader on emerging data, analytics, and risk management technologies.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and forums.
  • Establish best practices and manage enterprise-level technical documentation for the Data Warehouse.

Experience Requirements:
  • 8+ years in Data Management, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Risk Management. Alternatively, 12+ years with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Banking and regulatory reporting experience.
  • Hands-on SQL for complex queries.
  • Understanding of data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, data warehouses, and marts, including lineage documentation and ETL processes.
  • Understanding of agile data product delivery using Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree. Alternatively, high school diploma or GED with the stated experience.
