Fairwinds Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a defense aviation modernization program. This role provides analytical support across program management, cost, schedule, risk, logistics, testing, configuration management, and cybersecurity activities. The selected candidate will transform complex technical and program data into actionable insights for government and contractor leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reports.
  • Collect, validate, integrate, and analyze data from program sources including IMS, CSDR, CFSR, WBS, and risk registers.
  • Perform cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Support program reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and other technical and management reviews.
  • Analyze requirements traceability, verification, validation, and configuration management activities.
  • Track and analyze integration, laboratory, ground, and flight test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor cybersecurity compliance and readiness metrics.
  • Conduct logistics and sustainment analyses, including reliability, maintainability, inventory, and spare parts forecasting.
  • Automate reporting processes and improve data quality, collection, and reporting efficiency.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field.
Experience
  • 9+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Program Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), aerospace, aviation, aircraft modernization programs or government programs.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple systems.
  • 5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, military aviation, or.
  • Demonstrated success managing aircraft integration efforts from design through testing, certification, and delivery.
  • Experience with AWACS, ISR, C2, airborne communications, or large aircraft mission systems data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of KPI development and performance metrics.
  • Experience using the Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database.
