Job description

The National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) Division of the Leidos Fed Civ IT Business Area currently has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst.

This position will be part of a dynamic team working to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City at their Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center location.

Telework is available but you must be located in the OKC area.

Business Systems Support: The contractor must assist the Automation Systems Management Branch (AFS-950) by providing information systems and business process analysis support services. Services focus on data quality, business analysis, and assisting with the development of policies, plans, and procedures. Specifically, the Contractor will:

  • Provide support for analyzing, identifying, reporting, and resolving information systems discrepancies among systems of record.
  • Provide support in the research and resolution of information systems issues, stemming from mismatched or incorrect data.
  • Provide support in the delivery of accurate information systems data.
  • Formulate and present enterprise-wide business organization strategies.
  • Provide support for the design and delivery of integrated business and information systems to support the enterprise's accomplishment of business goals.
  • Provide support for the analysis and definition of business processes and work instructions.
  • Provide support in project and program creation, concept definition, presentations, and other business analysis to define business programs goals and objectives.
  • Provide support for data analysis of ad-hoc information requests.
  • Provide support for the development/ongoing revisions of a strategic communications effort.
  • Provide administrative and technical writing support for the documentation of information systems including data management/governance, performance and information systems usage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or master's with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams and other project tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to map business processes, prepare documentation, and perform analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust suitability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data quality and data management practices and techniques.
  • Understanding of relational databases and ability to query datasets.
  • Familiar with the Federal Aviation Administration organizational structure and policies.
