Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM

The Manufacturing Operations team ensures the company's production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and are continuously improving to deliver cutting-edge defense capabilities. This team uses data-driven methodologies and advanced analytics to optimize production lines, improve manufacturing efficiency, and drive operational excellence. Reporting directly to Manufacturing Operations leadership, the team works cross-functionally across engineering, supply chain, and business operations to ensure factory processes meet and exceed world-class operational goals.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Data Analyst for the Manufacturing team at Anduril, you will be a key player in advancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Anduril's production operations. You will use your expertise in data analytics to dive deep into production metrics, operational workflows, and system performance to extract actionable insights. Your work will empower manufacturing teams to identify bottlenecks, improve quality, streamline production processes, and scale operations intelligently. Together with manufacturing leadership, you will ensure that production data can be leveraged to solve critical challenges, inform strategic decisions, and build the next generation of defense manufacturing capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Use manufacturing/production and operational data to develop insights and solutions that optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and improve product quality in the manufacturing process.
  • Create advanced dashboards and analytics tools using visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) to measure and communicate performance metrics, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with production objectives and broader business goals.
  • Act as a primary liaison between manufacturing operations and other business units, including IT and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to the integration, improvement, and optimization of manufacturing systems, including MES, ERP, and WMS.
  • Support the creation of seamless data workflows between systems to drive reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead and facilitate Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other initiatives to drive production teams toward best-in-class operational standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify downtime patterns, and work on predictive maintenance strategies to prevent disruptions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of resource utilization, production outputs, and process flows to diagnose performance issues and recommend solutions.
  • Develop, track, and refine manufacturing KPIs to measure performance, highlight inefficiencies, and ensure accountability across production operations.
  • Document production processes, analytics workflows, and best practices to provide a foundation for training and ongoing operational improvements.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in manufacturing analytics, digital transformation, and advanced automation to identify innovations Al and advanced data applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred (e.g., MBA, MS in Engineering, or Data Science).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, business intelligence, or data analytics role with a focus on production data.
  • Proven ability to develop actionable insights that drive observable efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization and analytics tools, including Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar platforms for reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, WMS) and data integration with operational workflows.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, pattern identification, and advanced statistical analysis of production performance metrics.
  • Experience working with manufacturing/production teams to understand on-the-ground challenges and develop scalable solutions to address them.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for conveying complex data in actionable, meaningful ways.
  • Highly organized and capable of independently prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives toward continuous improvement and data-driven transformation.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hands-on experience implementing and scaling data insights for predictive maintenance or process control using AI, machine learning models, or digital twin systems.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics platforms, tools, and strategies that enhance production performance.
