Senior Data Analyst
Westwood, Massachusetts
Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Data Analyst for its Westwood, Massachusetts location.
Duties: Support Marketing Growth Strategists and Marketing leadership with data, analytics, insights, and recommendations that enhance the Checking and Deposits post-account opening experience. Work closely with the Customer Acquisition team to align strategies and leverage data and analytics to optimize personalized content and messaging. Collaborate across the Marketing Optimization team and with Marketing to provide empirically sound test designs, statistically sound analyses, and measurement that unlock growth opportunities against customer primacy, balance growth and lifetime net present value (NPV). Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand key objectives and business requirements. Assess and compile available data for analysis, extracting relevant insights and implementable solutions for our marketing partners. Leverage customer and prospect data sets to determine experimental test design and facilitate sizing, measurement, analysis, and reporting. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of marketing and provide actionable insights and recommendations. Become an expert across marketing channels, customer segments and key markets tracked by Citizens' Enterprise Marketing team to contextualize business activities and priorities. Document and communicate technical/analytic results, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on our team to brainstorm solutions, understand data availability and tools, provide project updates, and share ideas.
Requirements: Master's degree in a Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field and three (3) years of experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Conducting statistical analysis to segment customers based on behaviors and demographic data using Python and SQL; Designing and executing experimental tests, including A/B testing, to evaluate digital marketing communications and variations and analyze performance outcomes using Python; Applying predictive modeling techniques, including regressions, decision trees, and random forests, to forecast customer behavior and optimize marketing strategies; Conducting return on marketing investment analyses to assess long-term impact of marketing campaigns on customer profitability using SQL and Microsoft Excel; Utilizing Python, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Plotly, Seaborn, and Statsmodels, for data cleaning, transformation, visualization, statistical modeling, and automating marketing reporting workflows; Building SQL queries to extract, join, and aggregate large datasets from relational databases and cloud data warehouses; Creating dynamic dashboards and visualization in Tableau to communicate insights to stakeholders and track marketing campaign performance; and Forecasting marketing fulfillment expenses based on predicted performance and historical benchmarks using Python and Microsoft Excel.
