Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Systems/Data Analyst for our client in the Financial Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Smithfield, RI & Merrimack, NH

Salary: $55.00-$60.00/Hourly

Role: Systems/Data Analyst

Primary Skills: Data Analysis

Role Description: The Systems/Data Analyst must have 5+ years of experience.

Required Skills:

A data modeler profile could also work. Going through feed files, verifying their accuracy, and then validating once theyโ€™re in the database.

- Intermediate to Advanced SQL querying (Postgres)

- Experience with either Insomnia or Postman

- Experience with batch processing systems for large-scale data workflows

*Nice-To-Have*

- Snowflake, AWS, Python, Swagger, X-ray test case management in Jira.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years of Systems and Data Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services preferred.

- Strong experience in data analysis, data modelling and hands on experience in Oracle/Postgres/other relational databases.

- Experience with ETL frameworks, databases and SQL.

- Swagger experience preferred.

- Experience in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics preferred

- Experience with large-scale data workflows across cloud-based and on-prem environments.

- Experience with systems development methodologies and formal documentation processes, Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience.

- Knowledge of API Development and Testing, AWS (Cloud) Implementation, Data Design.

- Experience working in an environment with multiple applications and integrations

- Understanding of the financial services industry

- Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Can navigate the organization and build strong networks in order to successfully accomplish work.

- Proactive, detail-oriented, team player who understands how systems applications can provide solutions to business problems and objectives.

Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
