POSITION SUMMARY
The GME Analytics & Outcomes Specialist serves as a key member of the Graduate Medical Education team, supporting the administration, optimization, integration, and strategic use of educational technologies, data systems, and assessment processes. Working collaboratively with GME staff, institutional leadership, and other stakeholders, this position leverages technology, analytics, and reporting to support learner outcomes, accreditation compliance, continuous quality improvement, and operational excellence.
This role serves as a primary technical resource for MyEvaluations and is responsible for transforming assessment, evaluation, and operational data into meaningful insights that support learner success and institutional decision-making. Through data analysis, reporting, system optimization, and process improvement, the Specialist will identify innovative ways to leverage technology, automate workflows, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen educational outcomes across Graduate Medical Education programs.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude, experience with healthcare or educational technology systems, exceptional analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to supporting Graduate Medical Education initiatives.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Director of GME Evaluations and Assessment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES and FUNCTIONS
While living and demonstrating our Core Values, the GME Analytics and Outcomes Specialist will:
  • Serve as a key system administrator and subject matter expert for MyEvaluations, ensuring effective system utilization, data integrity, and alignment with institutional needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data visualizations. Extract, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, support continuous quality improvement initiatives, evaluate learner and program outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop innovative reporting solutions and analytical tools that improve operational efficiency, educational outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and accreditation readiness.
  • Monitor and maintain institutional Pace Card and Balanced Scorecard metrics related to GME programs, residents, fellows, and staff in collaboration with GME team members and leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and stakeholders to support system integrations, data integrity, and workflow optimization across enterprise applications, including scheduling, credentialing, and human resources systems.
  • Develop processes for data governance, quality assurance, and validation to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of institutional reporting and outcomes data.
  • Coordinate and execute the seamless import and validation of timekeeping and workforce data from Paylocity and other systems into MyEvaluations, ensuring compliance with duty hour requirements and institutional policies.
  • Maintain curricular milestones, evaluation frameworks, assessment tools, and reporting structures within MyEvaluations to support accreditation requirements and outcomes tracking.
  • Generate and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports related to evaluations, Clinical Competency Committee activities, milestone progression, board eligibility, compliance metrics, onboarding, credentialing, learner performance, and program outcomes.
  • Provide technical support, workflow consultation, and end-user training for MyEvaluations and related systems, ensuring successful adoption and effective utilization across the organization.
  • Support onboarding, credentialing, contract management, compliance tracking, and related workflows within MyEvaluations while developing process documentation, templates, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with GME Orientation, Graduation, accreditation preparation, and other departmental initiatives as needed.
  • Support the work of institutional and program-level committees through data analysis, reporting, meeting support, and continuous quality improvement initiatives, serving in leadership roles as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively across the Graduate Medical Education department to support shared departmental goals, provide cross-functional assistance, and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in coordinator education and development initiatives and provide cross-functional support as operational needs arise.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, Health Administration, Education Administration, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare informatics, healthcare analytics, educational technology administration, enterprise software administration, GME operations, EHR administration, or related technical environments.
  • Experience administering complex software systems and supporting end users in a healthcare, higher education, or regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience extracting, interpreting, validating, and presenting data.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.
  • Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with workflow analysis, process improvement, systems integration, and automation initiatives.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly instructions.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team while also managing independent projects and priorities.
  • Disciplined self-starter who is a positive, team-oriented individual with the ability and desire to learn and keep pace with emerging technologies and trends impacting medical education and learning management applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MyEvaluations, MedHub, New Innovations, EHR systems, learning management systems, or other healthcare education technologies.
  • Experience with Power Bl, Tableau, Looker Studio, SQL, database querying, reporting platforms, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with systems integration, data mapping, APls, or enterprise software implementations.
  • Knowledge of ACGME accreditation requirements, milestone reporting, outcomes assessment, and graduate medical education operations.
  • Experience creating automated workflows, dashboards, and data-driven process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, analytics, and outcomes data to improve organizational performance, learner success, and user experience.
