We are currently seeking an Economic Data Analyst with 3-6 years of experience to join our growing team of economists and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive.
**Note: This role is a Full-Time, Temporary Position with Corner Alliance (through 11/30/26)
About the Role:
As an Economic Data Analyst actively engaging with federal clients, you will be trusted to provide rigorous, data-driven economic and policy analysis in support of broadband, spectrum, telecommunications, and infrastructure-related initiatives. You will work closely with senior economists and project teams to analyze large datasets, support economic and financial modeling, and translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for federal stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of and comfort level with federal data sources, who is passionate about applying numerical and statistical methods with rigor and integrity, and who enjoys applying quantitative analysis to real-world policy questions.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative economic analyses related to broadband deployment, spectrum use, telecommunications markets, and infrastructure investment
  • Clean, manage, and analyze large datasets from federal, public, and commercial sources
  • Support the development and execution of economic, financial, and scenario-based models (e.g., forecasting, impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis)
  • Assist with program evaluation and performance measurement efforts, including identification and analysis of KPIs
  • Contribute to technical memoranda, white papers, and analytic deliverables for federal audiences
  • Develop slides, charts, and data visualizations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support senior staff in preparing briefings and materials for internal and external meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and client expectations
  • Participate in client meetings, working sessions, and strategy discussions as appropriate

Location:
You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely, with proximity to Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Arlington, VA; or Boulder, CO preferred. You may work at the client site dependent on contract requirements.
Required Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of professional experience, including experience in federal consulting or government contracting
  • Demonstrated experience conducting data-driven analysis in a policy, regulatory, or government context
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, R, SQL, or similar
  • Experience supporting economic, financial, or policy-related analyses
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain analytical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with federal clients and producing client-ready deliverables
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and the ability to pass a public trust clearance or suitability determination
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience with broadband, telecommunications, spectrum policy, infrastructure, or public finance
  • Familiarity with economic modeling, forecasting, or program evaluation frameworks
  • Experience working with large or complex datasets in a federal environment
  • Experience developing briefing materials or slide decks for senior government stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced consulting environment with evolving priorities
