 Ready to Lead the Future of Maintenance?

A new opportunity is taking shape in Leola, and we’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor ready to make an impact from the ground up.

As part of this exciting new operation, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a skilled maintenance team, support the startup of new equipment, and help establish the maintenance practices that will keep our operation running safely, reliably, and efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, developing people, and finding ways to make equipment and processes better!

What You'll Do – Results:
  • Lead and supervise maintenance operations to meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service
  • Spend approximately 75% of your time on the floor supporting the team, troubleshooting issues, and improving equipment performance
  • Lead by example and promote a strong commitment to Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
  • Lead maintenance activities associated with new equipment startup, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation
  • Partner with production and maintenance planning teams to schedule proactive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime
  • Analyze production schedules and prioritize repairs, maintenance, installations, and other work
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs, audit processes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and implement effective solutions to recurring equipment issues
  • Support the development, training, and performance of maintenance team members
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Help establish reliable maintenance processes and standards for a new manufacturing operation
What You Bring – Competencies:
  • Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a maintenance team
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, controls, and production equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced production environment

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with production, engineering, maintenance planning, and other departments

Experience & Skills:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three (3) years of maintenance and reliability experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, including automation, robotics, and controls
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with plant production software, preferably SAP
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting new equipment installation, commissioning, or manufacturing startup
Work Schedule & Travel:
  • Initial schedule will be Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • As the operation ramps up and transitions to a 24/7 manufacturing environment, schedule flexibility will be required.
  • Travel may be required to support equipment installation, startup activities, training, or collaboration with other Dart facilities.
