About Us:
Tutu School is a whimsical boutique ballet studio for children, where we believe every child should know what it feels like to dance. Our classes provide a foundation of movement, music, and creativity in a joyful, nurturing environment.
We are looking for a Membership Coordinator to join our teama detail-oriented, personable, and enthusiastic individual who can help families feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their Tutu School journey.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective familieswarmly welcoming inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Provide tours and trial class support, answering questions about our program with knowledge and enthusiasm.
  • Guide families through the membership enrollment process, including class selection, tuition information, and policies.
  • Proactively follow up with prospective families to encourage trial-to-membership conversion using strong sales strategies.
  • Support current members by assisting with scheduling, make-ups, and account changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of membership, billing, and attendance in the studios management system.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure they are informed of trials, new students, and member updates.
  • Assist with front desk operations, including check-ins and light administrative tasks.
  • Source and attend relevant community events to introduce and promote the Tutu School brand.

  • Represent Tutu Schools values and mission at both in-studio events and local outreach opportunities.
Qualifications:

  • Dance experience required (ballet or related background preferred) to authentically connect with families and understand the program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable demeanor.
  • Proven sales skills and confidence in guiding families toward membership enrollment.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Comfortable using technology and studio management systems (training provided).
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Must love working with children and families in a creative, nurturing environment.
Performance Metrics:

  • Achieve and maintain a50% or higher trial-to-membership conversion rate.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly enrollment targets as set by studio management.
  • Respond to all inquiries (phone/email) within 24 hours with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Accurately maintain family records with zero data entry errors each billing cycle.
  • Attend and represent Tutu School at a minimum of 23 community outreach events per quarter.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time position, with potential for growth.
  • Must be available for some evenings and weekends.
