ROLE DESCRIPTION
Arts & Media Instructional Faculty - Universal Application (2026-27 School Year)
This position offices in-person, on campus
This posting covers the general experience, responsibilities, and pay of a Valor Christian High School faculty member in the area of Arts & Media. Applying to this posting puts applicants in consideration for any faculty positions that might open for the upcoming school year and serves as a screening opportunity for candidates. If a position is opened for which our team would like to consider you, we will automatically move your application into consideration for that position and you will be notified of the next step in the application process. We also encourage you to apply directly to any actively open faculty positions for which you are particularly interested or qualified.
Faculty members at Valor Christian High School are charged with preparing tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ. Valor Faculty live out a compelling relationship with Jesus Christ, which is central to daily instruction and interactions with students, parents and team members. Valor Faculty are not only masters of the curriculum, but they see each student as a unique individual to be known and loved. Faculty members prepare students for college and mentor them in all aspects of their educational and spiritual development. Additionally, Arts & Media faculty help cultivate creative excellence, mentor developing artists, and support the collegiate and professional aspirations of students who further concentrate in our Conservatory for the Arts. They are both called and committed to the school’s vision and mission and seamlessly integrate faith into their daily work. You will be most successful if you have a true servant’s heart, a teachable spirit, a love for the Lord Jesus Christ, and a commitment to the school’s beliefs and values.

  • Integrate Biblical truth and Christian worldview authentically into artistic practice, helping students understand how faith shapes creativity, storytelling, cultural influence, and aesthetic purpose.
  • Use innovative instructional techniques such as project-based learning, studio critique, rehearsal processes, collaborative production workflows, technology-enhanced creation, and performance-based assessment to cultivate imagination, technical proficiency, and critical thinking.
  • Foster a studio, stage, or production-ready learning environment marked by mutual respect, disciplined practice, and creative risk-taking, empowering students to grow as makers, performers, thinkers, and communicators.
  • Engage with a variety of curricula and levels, including introductory, conservatory, honors, dual-credit, and AP courses (where applicable), with a commitment to helping students achieve artistic excellence and personal growth.
