We are seeking a Customer Service Extrordinaire, detail-oriented, and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a critical role in the daily operations of our collision shop by accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring a seamless process from initial assessment to final invoicing. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of automotive repair processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to assess the extent of damage from collisions, ensuring all repair needs are identified.
- Prepare detailed and accurate damage estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, All Data, Repair Logic, and Manufacturer Repair Manuals).
- Collaborate with technicians to understand repair requirements and address any additional items that may arise during the repair process.
- Communicate with customers to explain repair processes, costs, and timelines, ensuring transparency and understanding throughout the process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive repair techniques, technology, and industry trends to provide accurate assessments.
- Work closely with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claims processing and resolve any disputes regarding repair estimates.
- Manage and track repair orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
