DAMA agreements are tailored to address specific labor shortages in regional areas and may offer concessions to standard visa requirements, such as English language, skills, or salary levels. These visas are typically linked to the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482) and can provide pathways to permanent residency for eligible applicants.

This includes liaising with government agencies, preparing and submitting visa applications, ensuring ongoing compliance with visa conditions, and supporting sponsored employees with their onboarding and settlement. The role often requires close collaboration with HR, legal teams, and external migration agents to ensure all requirements are met efficiently.
