Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Handles food and equipment according to corporate, local, state and federal sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Is aware of safety regulations and responsibilities in operating all equipment.
  • Delivers food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas as instructed by supervisor.
  • Prepares and delivers snacks.
  • Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that customer and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
Qualifications
  • Some high school is required.
  • Must have knowledge of the methods and techniques of handling and serving food.
  • Must have knowledge of sanitation practices relating to food handling.
  • Must have the ability to follow diet lists, portion foods as specified, and serve food in an appetizing manner.
