Harness QA Inspector

Description: Assist in the manufacturing production of wire harnesses with primary emphasis being the inspection and quality control of completed wire harnesses.

Hours:ย Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM - 6:30PM, Friday OT as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment to ensure goals are met
  • Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections
  • Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production
  • Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections
  • Record and report on quality issues
  • Support and contribute process improvement ideas
  • Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed
  • Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools
  • Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities
  • Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements:

  • Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisors
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
