Special Education Paraprofessionals provide assistance, under classroom teacher direction, to students identified with special needs by helping them stay on task, complete assignments, maintain acceptable behavior, and function in daily living and job skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent and an Associates degree, 60 credits in post secondary education, or be willing to take and pass the Para Pro Assessment
2. Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations.
3. Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
4. Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team.
We are looking for "short call" substitutes to work in either or both buildings, Rippleside Elementary and Aitkin High School.
Applicants will be considered for current vacancies and any full- or part-time positions for the current school year.
Starting wage:$17.03/hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to fill positions as they become available.
