Job Description Role: Field Superintendent Location: McArthur River, SK - flights from Saskatoon airport only Contract Duration: 01/05/2026 to 12/31/2026 Work Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off - 11 hours per day Rate: Up to $100/INC Key Responsibilities: The Field Superintendent has primary responsibility to ensure contractors within their area are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements The Field Superintendent will review and/or develop detailed work plans according to Cameco's workface planning processes In some instances, the Field Superintendent may perform supervision of direct field labour on Non-Routine Maintenance scopes of work, including facility upgrades, renovations, scaffolding coordination, and mechanical/piping ensuring the work is completed safely and to a high quality standard In some instances, the Field Superintendent will oversee the contractor's activities of Non-Routine Maintenance, facility upgrades, renovations, scaffolding coordination, and mechanical/piping nature confirming the work is completed safely and according to all contract requirements Inspections of completed work to confirm it is completed to appropriate standards, identifying deficiencies and managing the completion of deficiencies Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively with the contractor and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers Daily validation and approval of contractor submitted labour, equipment and material reports Responsible to coordinate field activities between contractors and the Cameco operations team as required Skills / Previous Experience: Previous experience with multi-discipline mechanical work, structural steel modifications, and facility upgrades. Previous experience in a brown field construction environment is required E&I background will also be considered.
