Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center, located in the scenic town of Leesburg, offers a collaborative onsite work environment where healthcare professionals come together to innovate and excel. You will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, in a supportive atmosphere dedicated to professional growth and compassionate patient care. The center operates Monday to Friday with rotating hospital shifts on weekends, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, establish individualized treatment goals, and create tailored intervention plans based on physician referrals.

• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to assist patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions while adapting techniques to suit the age and needs of each patient.

• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries with precision, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards.

• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, providing guidance and support to optimize patient care.

• Engage with other healthcare professionals to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure comprehensive care strategies are in place for every patient.

• Perform ongoing assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Participate in education and training initiatives for clinical staff and engage in personal professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Guided Grace Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and geriatric patients with chronic illnesses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the state of Virginia.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in record-keeping software and rehabilitation documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on your professional experience.
