Work Environment

This is an onsite position, allowing you to work closely with healthcare peers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, in a collaborative rehabilitation setting. Our team atmosphere is energized, focusing on innovative therapies and evidence-based practices to provide the best outcomes for our patients. The facility operates from Monday to Friday with rotating weekend shifts to meet our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Guided Grace Therapy Center, you will:

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions by conducting comprehensive assessments, identifying impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities resulting from various causes.
• Develop, implement, and adjust tailored treatment plans based on patient goals and progress, aligning them with physician orders and best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, monitor their effectiveness, and document all activities through precise evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and managing patient billing as required.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, ensuring high standards of patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Conduct regular consultations with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient intervention strategies and promote comprehensive healthcare approaches.
• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the Center by sharing insights to improve productivity and the treatment environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population at Guided Grace Therapy Center, providing care for individuals with various conditions and recovery needs. From post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management and sports injuries, you will create personalized care plans that address each patient's unique situation, making a meaningful difference in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including documentation software and general office applications.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings or specific specialties such as orthopedic or geriatric therapy are highly favored. Experience in employing modern therapeutic techniques and technologies will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

Guided Grace Therapy Center offers a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
