Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lenexa, KS that is looking for a D365 Functional Analyst.
Summary:
The D365 Functional Analyst will support and enhance a client's use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management formerly known as Finance and Operations (F&O). As a functional analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, configure, and optimize the system to align with business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring successful implementations and driving improvements in the client's D365 F&SCM environment across various business functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for D365 F&SCM
* Work closely with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with business processes and objectives
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for D365 F&SCM, providing guidance and insights into system capabilities and best practices
* Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using D365 F&SCM features and integrations
* Lead workshops and training sessions to ensure end-users fully understand and utilize D365 F&SCM functionalities
* Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flows to support system customization and configuration
* Assist in data migration, system testing, and validation to ensure successful implementation and upgrades
* Monitor system performance and address user concerns or issues in a timely manner
* Stay updated on Dynamics 365 updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions
* Utilize recommended best practices and a thorough understanding of D365 F&SCM functionality to create new features and/or fix reported issues and bugs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years focusing on Microsoft D365 F&SCM
* Proven experience in implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 solutions in a supply chain, manufacturing, or telecommunications environment is a plus
* Strong knowledge of D365 F&SCM
* Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional design documentation
* Experience with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
* Familiarity with integration tools and techniques (e.g., APIs, middleware)
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
* Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
* Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies
* Basic understanding of Azure services and cloud integrations
* Familiarity with DevOps processes for continuous improvement
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Preferred Requirements:
* MS Dynamics D365 certifications
* Experience with Azure functions, Key Vaults, Logic Apps
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
