Job description

What Drives Success

The eCommerce Techno-Functional Lead will lead the functional analysis, technical design, hands-on development, and end-to-end delivery of scalable B2B eCommerce solutions using Angular/React, Java/Spring Boot, APIs, integrations, and modern web technologies. This person will partner with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, translate business needs and customer journeys into practical solution designs, and create clear technical user stories for engineering teams. Use GitHub Copilot, generative AI, and agentic workflows to improve delivery speed, quality, and engineering efficiency.

  • Own end-to-end techno-functional delivery, including functional requirements gathering, technical user stories, workflows, solution design, APIs, integrations, estimation, dependencies, technical risk assessment, hands-on development, testing, and release readiness.
  • Provide functional leadership and hands-on full stack technical leadership across Angular, React, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, integrations, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
  • Design and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable full stack solutions using Angular, React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Maintain hands-on technical involvement through code and API reviews, prototypes, configuration validation, troubleshooting, defect triage, testing, and release-readiness support.
  • Guide engineering teams on architecture standards, secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, scalability, and cloud-ready practices.
  • Communicate solution options, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders, product owners, architects, engineering teams, QA, operations, and leadership.
  • Embed GitHub Copilot and responsible AI practices across requirements, coding, testing, documentation, reviews, and troubleshooting; design agentic workflows with guardrails, traceability, monitoring, evaluation, and human oversight.
 What We Are Looking For
  • 8 years of IT experience, including significant enterprise B2B eCommerce, techno-functional leadership, hands-on development, and end-to-end solution delivery experience.
  • Strong hands-on full stack development expertise with Angular, React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, enterprise integration patterns, security, scalability, and application troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with Angular and React, plus modern UI development, accessibility, responsive design, API integration, performance optimization, and front-end testing.
  • Strong functional requirements gathering, stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead both business and technical discussions.
  • Practical experience with GitHub Copilot, generative AI, prompt/context engineering, AI-assisted development, and responsible validation of AI-generated outputs.
  • Knowledge or experience with agentic AI, workflow orchestration, tool-enabled agents, human-in-the-loop controls, guardrails, monitoring, and enterprise security.
  • Nice to Have: SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris B2B capabilities, customizations, extensions, and integrations; SAP ERP/S4 and SAP SD integration exposure; integrations with ERP, CRM, payments, tax, inventory, order management, PIM, and third-party platforms; cloud-native/containerized architecture; Agile delivery; and solution demonstrations or proof-of-concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
