Do You Enjoy Solving Technical Challenges?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organization specializing in high-performance building products used in commercial, institutional, and residential construction.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established territory, managing existing dealer and distributor relationships while growing new business across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
If you enjoy learning technical products, building long-term customer relationships, and spending your time in front of customers rather than behind a desk, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Manage and grow an established territory
  • Build relationships with building material dealers, lumberyards, gypsum dealers, and contractors
  • Deliver product presentations and provide technical product support
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
  • Travel approximately 70% with overnight travel less than 50%
  • Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and territory plans
What We're Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of outside sales experience within building materials, construction products, or another technical building products industry
  • Experience selling through dealer and distributor channels
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex products
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing an independent territory
Experience With Products Such As:
  • Insulation
  • Air & vapour barriers
  • Roofing
  • Waterproofing
  • Cladding
  • Steel framing
  • Drywall systems
  • Acoustical products
  • Building envelope systems
  • Other technical construction products
What's In It For You?
  • $75,000-$90,000 base salary (higher compensation may be considered for exceptional industry experience)
  • Uncapped commission on top-line sales
  • $800/month vehicle allowance or vehicle plus fuel card
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Established territory with existing accounts
  • Ongoing technical training and professional development
  • High level of autonomy and long-term career growth
If you're looking for an opportunity where technical expertise is valued as much as sales ability, we'd like to speak with you.
