Job description

We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our team specializing in parts for our Distribution Center located in Candiac, QC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch parts at the local branch, while checking for damage and discrepancies.
  • Provide accurate documentation and maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the entire process.
  • Work with internal and external customers at the parts counter in the local branch.
  • Complete required training in line with business requirements.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills acquired through education, training, or on-the-job experience in Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • A high school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience, to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Direct customer interaction experience via counter service, phone, and email.
  • Ability to work with the PM group to acquire parts.
  • Experience operating forklifts and performing warehouse duties.
  • Excellent computer skills.
    Education, Licenses, Certifications:
    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
    Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
    Experience:
    Requires significant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Cummins offers a 2500$ sign on bonus for this position.
