Job description

Providence Specialty Medical Group in Santa Monica, California, is seeking a dedicated Urologic Oncologist to join their collegial and collaborative team. This role is ideal for an academic and robotic trained Urologic Oncologist with experience in training urology residents or oncology fellows, leading clinical trials, and guiding translational research. Position also includes treatment of general urology such as BPH, nephrolithiasis, and reconstruction. The 16 OR hospital carries two MP robots and one SP while the ASC has one MP. The department offers support from PA/NP and experienced urologic cancer clinic. In hospital cancer clinic offers infusion, transvesical instillations, blue light cystoscopy, and in-office procedures.
Research expectations include grant application, clinical trials and publications. Research opportunities include investigator-initiated outcomes research and translational collaboration with highly regarded scientists at Saint John's Cancer Institute (SJCI) and Providence affiliates in Portland and Seattle. Professional regulatory and research staff can support all clinical trial needs through the SJCI.   • Compensation is between $412,150 and $631,513 per year

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
