Description:
Cylinder Handler
Perform cylinder inspection, move cylinders to different areas of the plant, and load/unload cylinders from delivery trucks.
Maintain a proactive approach to safety and the thoughtful use of personal protective equipment.
Foster a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with vendors, co-workers, and management.
Stage cylinders in designated areas of the production plant for filling.
Collaborate on loading and unloading all assigned company vehicles daily.
Coordinate the placement of trucks and trailers within a designated area on company property.
Transfer cylinders to and from ground storage as needed.
Collaborate with production personnel in moving full cylinders from the fill area.
Optimize pure product as needed to meet customer orders.
Communicate any cylinder shortages to management.
Inspect all cylinders for general condition and share any discrepancies with the leadership team.
Maintain equipment and submit maintenance requests to the Plant Manager in writing.
Support the cleaning and care of the assigned work area.
Notes:
Shift Hours: 5am - 1:30pm
Overtime will be offered on Saturdays at a later date.
