Job Description

Role: Agile Coach
Location: Washington, DC Metropolitan Area
Duration: 6 Months Contract (will continually extend)
!! Need Green Card, US Citizen Candidates Only !!
Essential Skills:
Extensive experience as an AGILE COACH (Certification is a must)
Experience as Scrum Master on a variety of different projects (at least 2 years)
Can create training materials and conduct training on Agile topics
Has served in a mentoring or coaching role
Has experience in implementing Agile techniques in different cultures and environments
Has successfully run Agile projects of varying size and complexity
Servant Leader, able to garner respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done
Must be able to communicate well with teams
Able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
Must be able to ensure Agile and Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.
Situationally aware, notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management
Able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches
Attitude of empowerment, able to lead a team to self-organization
Able to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust
Nice to have:
Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
