Job Overview
The Warehouse Delivery Associate role supports the branch by preparing and completing daily deliveries and managing stock within the warehouse. This role anticipates the needs of the business and customers, while managing their day-to-day workload. This role will be knowledgeable on warehouse operations, completing daily deliveries and best practices of excellent customer service. This role is responsible for maximizing results by ensuring products are properly stored, pulled and delivered to customers.

Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver Products
  • Pull, pack and prepare orders for customer pick up or delivery.
  • Ensure all parts are accurately checked against invoices and delivery paperwork.
  • Complete customer deliveries and core and return pick-ups.
  • Collect customer payments, signatures and proper documentation when required.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs to management.

Warehouse Support
  • Assist with inventory processing of incoming and outgoing stock in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Organize and label stock and maintain inventory levels by reporting shortage or discrepancies to management.
  • Assist in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a safe and secure manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.

Customer Service
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on the job.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication.
  • Support problem solving efforts for customer issues.
  • Build a positive relationship with customers and represent the company positively.

Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a delivery driver or warehouse associate required.
  • Ability to obtain a Chauffeur's License, DOT Card, and pass an MVR, if needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products with ability to conduct basic database tasks in Excel.
  • Experience with an ERP system and/or sales force automation tools preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide personable and professional customer service.
  • Strong time management skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
  • Travel required: 50% (local travel within the workday).
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer as well as driving on the road.
