RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Draper, UT is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager.
Overview:
The Senior IT Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives. This role is responsible for driving delivery across multiple concurrent programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology standards, and organizational priorities. The Senior IT Project Manager partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to guide project direction, support decision-making, and ensure accountability across internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
* Lead enterprise technology programs across software, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data platforms
* Define program vision, delivery approach, and governance structure
* Manage complex project portfolios, ensuring prioritization, resource allocation, and alignment across interdependent initiatives
* Identify and mitigate risks across organizational, technical, and vendor environments
* Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, driving accountability and performance
* Communicate with executive stakeholders, providing clear updates, reporting, and decision support
* Ensure adherence to enterprise security, compliance, and technology standards in partnership with architecture and cybersecurity teams
* Oversee testing and deployment readiness, including UAT strategy, cutover planning, and post-deployment support
* Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, methodologies, and operational handoffs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred
* 4+ years of progressive IT project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
* Proven ability to deliver enterprise technology solutions that drive measurable business value
* Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments including software development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data platforms
* Experience applying Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies based on project needs
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results aligned with business expectations and organizational standards
* Adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
