Job description

Role : IAM Project Manager / Identity & Access Management Project Manager
Location : Alpharetta GA or Roseland NJ - Hybrid
Experience : Min. 9+ years

Job Summary :-
We are looking for an experienced IAM Project Manager to lead and manage Identity and Access Management initiatives from planning through implementation and delivery. The candidate will coordinate IAM engineering, security, infrastructure, application, compliance, and business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :-
Manage end-to-end IAM projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Coordinate IAM teams, application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Manage IAM implementations, migrations, integrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Track project scope, budget, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
Manage project documentation, requirements, action items, and project governance.
Coordinate user access provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, authorization, and access review initiatives.
Support IAM programs involving SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, IGA, provisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
Work with technical teams on integration of IAM platforms with applications, directories, cloud environments, and enterprise systems.
Ensure projects meet organizational security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Coordinate UAT, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production support.
Manage third-party IAM vendors and implementation partners when required.
Ensure project deliverables are completed and properly transitioned to operational/support teams.
Required Skills :-
6+ years of IT project/program management experience.
3+ years of experience managing IAM or cybersecurity projects.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts and identity lifecycle management.
Experience with IAM technologies such as:
SailPoint
Saviynt
CyberArk
Okta
Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
Ping Identity
Understanding of SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, IGA, LDAP/Active Directory, and provisioning.
Experience managing application integrations and IAM migrations.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :-
PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
Cybersecurity or IAM-related certification is a plus.
Experience with cloud IAM across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with IAM governance, audit, risk, and compliance programs.
Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
