Special Access Program Security Officer
Join Team Spectrum in a high-impact security role supporting complex and mission-critical programs in a fast-paced operational environment. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned security professional who thrives on protecting sensitive information, managing multi-discipline security requirements, and serving as a trusted advisor on advanced security matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plans, organizes, and supports advanced programs security activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and program security requirements.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for Special Access Program security involving personnel, physical, information, industrial, and cybersecurity disciplines.
• Develops, maintains, and submits program protection implementation plans and related security documentation in support of program compliance requirements.
• Interprets and applies national, DoD, Air Force, Intelligence Community, and MAJCOM security guidance to complex security issues and program operations
• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain secure environments for classified and sensitive program activities.
• Reviews contract security documentation, including DD Form 254s and associated classification guidance, for technical accuracy and adequacy.
• Conducts initial, periodic, and annual security inspections and facility clearance surveys; documents findings and supports corrective action planning.
• Administers SAP access processes for military, civilian, and contractor personnel, including nomination packages, eligibility validation, and access tracking.
• Maintains personnel information folders, access databases, billet rosters, visit certifications, training records, and entry authority lists for program personnel.
• Supports development and delivery of security education and training materials, lesson plans, briefings, and awareness programs for assigned programs.
Requirements
Required Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years working as a Special Access Program Security Officer and one (1) year of security experience.
• Top Secret/SCI; SAP/SAP Network; NATO ACCM.
