Job description

Barbaricum is seeking several Cybersecurity Specialist (All Levels) to support cybersecurity operations, compliance, and risk management for DoD systems. This role will ensure systems meet security requirements and support continuous monitoring and risk mitigation activities.

The selected candidate will work with technical teams to maintain system security posture and support compliance with applicable cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Support implementation of cybersecurity policies and controls.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
Support RMF processes and system authorization activities.
Monitor system security posture and respond to incidents.
Maintain security documentation and compliance artifacts.

Required Qualifications:

Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant experience based on level.
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, RMF).
DoD 8570/8140 certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity programs.
Familiarity with security tools and monitoring platforms.
