 MANAGER- CYBER SECURITY |  ATLANTA, US

While we can't solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we're looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

How you'll make an impact:

Lead and manage security incidents across Travelport's environment, acting as incident commander during cyber and fraud events. Oversee daytoday security operations, threat hunting, and monitoring, while guiding Level 1-3 analysts and MSSPs. Drive continuous optimization of security tools (SIEM, IAM, WAF, IDS, DLP, Vulnerability Management, malware and AI-driven capabilities), and establish clear metrics, procedures, and response standards to protect enterprise assets.

Your role in action:

  • Lead activities to tune and optimize all Security tools used in the Travelport environment (IAM, WAF, IDS, Vulnerability Management, DLP, SIEM, Anti-Virus, IDM, IOC ingestion, malware analysis, AI usage, etc.).
  • Manage security operations day to day tasks and responsibilities as well as threat-hunt activities and security monitoring activities and actions of level 1, 2, and 3 security analysts both full-time employees and MSSP. 
  • Create and maintain security metrics for immediate requests as needed for reports and distribution.
  • Create, develop, and maintain standard practices and procedures to respond appropriately to internal and external threats.
  • Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in the network by establishing status quo for the networks and recognizing any deviations in order to provide actionable recommendations in the event of malicious activity.
  • Review risk and security assessments of applications, databases, servers and networking technologies where applicable for tuning of detection rules and alerts within security monitoring solutions. 
  • Follow Information Security process, policies, and procedures congruent with standards and industry best practices. 
  • Lead and provide oversight for Security Operations team in monitoring activities and events in Travelport's environment to ensure that anomalous behavior is detected, identified, classified and acted upon where appropriate.
  • Manage Cyber Security Engineers on new security projects.  Research new security tools, applications and solutions for best fit in Travelport's environment.  Perform RFP's, POC's, infrastructure build out, testing, production roll out, configurations, run books, etc.
  • Develop and execute corrective action plans and remediation plans when issues are identified in order to mitigate the risk of exploitation.

Could this be you? 

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or related technical domains.
  • Proven experience leading and supervising individuals and teams, including work assignment, performance evaluation, decision-making, and delivery timelines.
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert, with exposure across multiple applications and adjacent systems.
  • Strong experience planning and managing multiple projects or teams simultaneously.
  • Deep technical expertise in at least one core security domain or product, with solid knowledge of adjacent systems.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing and improving security processes, metrics, and operational controls.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application delivery and how multiple systems or products integrate to support business and client needs.
  • Ability to quickly assess environments, identify gaps, and recommend scalable improvements.
  • Information Systems, Network Security Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Security certifications highly preferred: CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISSAP, OSCP, OSWP.
  • Additional industry certifications are a plus: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, CCSA, CCSE, CCSM.
