Job description

  • Deliver and contribute to the strategic agenda for core cybersecurity products
  • Drive product vision into development teams and translate it into delivery objectives
  • Articulate target personas, customer benefits, and feature value across teams
  • Represent customer needs to engineering teams using cybersecurity expertise and customer research
  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics into product design
  • Participate in research and design sessions for new features
  • Develop and maintain a healthy product backlog with Product Management, Engineering, and Solution Architects
  • Break down business epics and document user stories, design details, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions and prepare work for technical breakdown and planning
  • Prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer and business outcomes while reducing cyber and operational risk
  • Advise product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders on technical matters
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams and participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies
  • Support teams through escalation and resolution of impediments
  • Drive performance and innovation using data-driven insights
  • Monitor security, resilience, and performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain technical and risk credibility across the technology organization
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
  • At least 2 years of Cloud Security experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • At least 4 years of experience in product management
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience solving cyber technical challenges
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into products
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with AI Security frameworks, Agentic AI architectures, and secure implementation/use of Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience implementing security best practices for containerized workloads and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Amazon ECS
  • Preferred: 3+ years of Cyber product owner experience
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in technical writing
  • Preferred: 2+ years of hands-on JIRA experience
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in scaled agile product management
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in regulated financial services organizations or technology companies
  • Preferred: 2 or more professional certifications, such as SAFe PM/PO, CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or AWS Security

  • Ability to work effectively with software and platform engineers and cross-functional stakeholders
