Position: Cybersecurity Analyst Intermediate, IAM II
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst, Intermediate – IAM II to support the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Management (ITCM) contract for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This position supports cybersecurity management and operations for assigned enclaves, systems, and sites, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, and applicable security standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead cybersecurity management and operations for assigned enclaves, systems, and sites in accordance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and applicable security standards.
  • Plan and execute cybersecurity activities throughout the system lifecycle, including authorization, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with IAM III personnel, Government leadership, system owners, and technical teams to address operational requirements, cybersecurity risks, and compliance issues.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to cybersecurity personnel as required.
  • Support a full-time, 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, Program Management, Cybersecurity, or related field from an accredited institution and at least five (5) years of cybersecurity management experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree in a non-STEM/Cybersecurity-related field and at least seven (7) years of DoD cybersecurity experience, including demonstrated knowledge supporting missile defense or other complex, large-scale DoD programs/projects; or
    • Associate degree in a STEM, Cybersecurity, or related field and at least ten (10) years of DoD cybersecurity experience, including demonstrated knowledge supporting missile defense or other complex, large-scale DoD programs/projects.
  • Must meet DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification requirements. Qualifying certifications may include CISSP, CISM, CASP+/SecurityX, or another DoD-approved IAM Level II certification.
  • Must possess an eMASS certification prior to starting the position.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD RMF and Authorization to Operate (ATO) sustainment for missile defense, weapon systems, or other complex MDA/DoD mission systems.
  • Proficiency with eMASS, including POA&M management, continuous monitoring, and security artifact maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, STIGs, and vulnerability management within classified environments.
  • Experience leading or mentoring IAM/IAT cybersecurity personnel and briefing cybersecurity risk and compliance status to Government leadership.
  • Experience supporting classified, Special Access Program (SAP), or mission-critical operational environments, preferably in support of MDA or other DoD programs.
