Job Summary

Cybersecurity Engineers design and implement secure network architectures and solutions to protect the institution''s digital assets against cyber threats. This role involves analyzing security requirements, developing security protocols, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure the effective deployment of security technologies.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - 
Design and implement secure network architectures and solutions to protect the institution''s digital assets from internal and external threats.
Job Duty 2 - 
Analyze security requirements and develop security policies, standards, and procedures to guide the implementation of cybersecurity measures.
Job Duty 3 - 
Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement.
Job Duty 4 - 
Monitor security alerts and events to identify and respond to potential threats, ensuring that vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner.
Job Duty 5 - 
Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure that the institution''s security posture remains robust.
Job Duty 6 - 
Develop and deliver training programs for technical staff on secure coding practices and the implementation of security controls in system designs.
Job Duty 7 - 
Document security processes, configurations, and incident response procedures to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
Job Duty 8 - 
Participate in incident response activities, including investigating breaches, analyzing their impact, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Job Duty 9 - 
Collaborate with Information Technology teams to deploy and configure security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
Eight or more years of relevant experience.

  • Experience administering and supporting Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, preferably ClearPass or similar platforms.
  • Experience with certificate management and certificate-based auth
  • Experience designing and implementing network security controls, including segmentation, firewall policies, secure remote access, and Zero Trust architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Zscaler technologies, including ZIA, ZPA, and Client Connector.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, authentication technologies (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+), and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience integrating security technologies with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, SIEM, and endpoint management platforms.
  • Ability to lead security initiatives, develop technical standards, and collaborate across infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity teams.
