Job Description

NYC IT company is looking for a talented, motivated college student majoring in marketing/digital marketing for an unpaid, part-time internship.

Take the lead in managing an interactive demand management ecosystem while gaining valuable experience! Help drive inbound demand through our inbound marketing hub. Manage linkages to social media, our web site and CRM systems. Help plan and execute digital advertising campaigns. Manage site content to make sure we have the latest to address our market.

Ideally we want an individual with an Marketing or Interactive Media major who has one foot in marketing and one in digital technology. This is not a diluted support role. You will have real responsibilities and have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hubspot (digital content and demand marketing)
  • Social Media Marketing / Advertising (Primarily LinkedIn/Twitter/Facebook
  • Dynamics CRM
  • Web Site

Tasks would include:

  • Assist with a content re-write for our new web-site
  • Assist with live events (set-up, attendance, catering, tracking)
  • Assist with execution and monitoring of active campaigns through CRM
  • Manage Hubspot changes to drive inbound demand management from our web-site to CRM
  • Manage complex email and event campaign tracking
  • Analyze and track analytics that drive ROI
  • Research and optimize SEO for better results across Web and Social
  • Research new methods to extend content marketing for increased demand and lead generation
  • Stay up on the latest trends related to IT and Managed Services
  • Research Hubspot to identify unused features that could be leveraged to drive additional demand
  • Perform content and lead research in support of marketing campaigns and outreach
  • Prepare reports outlining performance of our eco-system in generating demand that leads to actual revenue

We expect a commitment of 20-25 hours a week. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual interested in making a real difference leveraging Maureen Data System's marketing initiatives and gaining real-world experience. Experience/knowledge in IT is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Campaign management and strategic marketing, students study Internet product branding, website usability, blogs, SEO, Web analytics, viral marketing and affiliate marketing, WordPress knowledge, content marketing, marketing automation, social media marketing, mobile marketing, HubSpot.

IT knowledge is preferred but not required.
