The Cybersecurity Analyst assists with the deployment, management, and maintenance of security systems, and their corresponding or associated software across the organization's various information systems.
Starting Wage Range: $99,267 - $101,50/annually DOE.
Location: This is an in-person position located in Fairbanks, Alaska.
What you will do
  • Perform security assessments on all Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Provide baseline and security reports to IT and OT stakeholders, as needed.
  • Perform and report the results of system audits, in alignment with prescribed security standards.
  • Create, review, and edit system security procedures and documentation.
  • Assist with IT and OT information security design and integration.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure adherence to system security requirements.
  • Plan, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to validate security postures and controls.
  • Review, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts within the environment.
  • Proactively monitor the environment to detect and implement cyber-attack mitigation before a breach occurs.
  • Review real-time and historical reports for cybersecurity and/or compliance violations.
  • Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to staff on effective practices for safeguarding information.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer support and ensure a consistent high-quality experience for all stakeholders.
  • Learn, adopt, and apply safety programs.

Conditions of Employment
Must pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug test thereafter in accordance with the published policy of Doyon Utilities. Must have a valid driver's license issued by the State of Alaska. Must be eligible to work on a military installation in Alaska. Eligibility to work on a military installation includes compliance with Department of Defense mandates with respect to employee background and health directives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Required
  • 3 years working with Information Technology and/or Operational Technology systems. Required
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team. (required proficiency)

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters. (required proficiency)

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. (required proficiency)
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, applications, and analysis. (required proficiency)
