Description

Network and Security Specialists support broad technology infrastructure initiatives that provide an operating platform and management information system for the organization. They implement, monitor, and maintain cybersecurity framework and endpoint protection. Network and Security Specialists support cybersecurity compliance initiatives, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). They also support infrastructure technologies and modernization initiatives working with teams across the organization to translate technical concepts into business-friendly solutions. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions including antivirus, EDR/XDR, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Monitor endpoint security posture and remediate vulnerabilities in accordance with company policies following CMMC current and future guidance.
  • Ensure endpoints remain compliant with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with incident response activities involving endpoint compromise or suspicious activity.
  • Develop and enforce endpoint hardening standards and security baselines.
  • Support Active Directory, identity management, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.
  • Assist with cloud identity management and endpoint integration.
  • Support networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, VPN technologies, and remote access solutions.
  • Participate in server administration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Support collaboration systems.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts related to endpoint infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand technology needs and improve user experience.
  • Communicate technical issues and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations while balancing business priorities, security requirements, and available resources.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical guidance to end users and leadership.
  • Support organizational technology initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  • Other duties assigned as needed to support the infrastructure team leader and other management information system team goals and team leadership roles.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 3+ years of security or network support experience required
  • 5+ years of enterprise IT support or endpoint administration experience a plus
  • Experience supporting cloud environments required including Microsoft Azure; Microsoft 365
  • Experience with PowerShell automation and scripting required
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and enterprise storage solutions required
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated industries required
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls required
  • Certifications include CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent cybersecurity certification preferred but not required
