Job description

We are seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the delivery of managed IT services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology strategy for a local government client. This hands-on, technical role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environments while delivering exceptional customer service and serving as a trusted technical advisor.
*Note, this position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the administration and support of Microsoft 365, Windows servers, networking, and endpoint infrastructure.
  • Oversee cybersecurity services including SIEM, EDR, MFA, endpoint protection, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle, asset inventory, warranties, deployments, and refresh planning.
  • Provide technical leadership for Tier 1-3 Help Desk operations and complex client escalations.
  • Monitor system performance, network health, and security while ensuring service level objectives are met.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, software licensing, vendor management, and technology reporting.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by developing technology roadmaps and leading IT projects.
  • Coordinate onsite support when required and mentor junior technical staff.
Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure or Managed Services (MSP).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Experience with firewalls, backups, disaster recovery, endpoint security, and cloud administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or security certifications are a plus.
This is a hybrid position that requires regular travel to multiple local sites to provide onsite support as needed.
Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
