We have an opportunity for an INTERMEDIATE CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST supporting one of our Federal customers in Reston Va.

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Secret

CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship

LOCATION: Onsite Reston Va

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Intermediate Cybersecurity Specialists provide day-to-day cybersecurity operations support including IAVM tracking, compliance monitoring, site ISSM engagement, and NGEN service delivery coordination. These positions work under the direction of Advanced Cybersecurity Specialists to maintain continuous compliance across the Navy command's IT portfolio.Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Communicate and coordinate with TYCOM Assistant CTRs to complete day-to-day and one-time tasks

Engage regularly with the Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) and NMCI Customer Advocacy Manager

Escalate issues and concerns regarding delivery of NMCI services to appropriate stakeholders

Manage the NMCI NIPR and SIPR account lifecycle process; create and maintain SOPs

Oversee service delivery of Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests

Track Service Management activities and Integration & Transport (I&T) contract buildouts

Monitor End-User Hardware contract delivery requests and fulfillment

Track and plan large-scale hardware deployments and lifecycle refreshes

Deliver working group training and reinforcement for NGEN Program members

Maintain familiarity with NMCI Enterprise Tool and Requirement To Award Process (RTAP) Tool

Create Power BI dashboards for SLA monitoring and compliance visibility

Coordinate cross-communication between N61, N62, and N63 on IT portfolio and CWF requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of NMCI/NGEN service delivery processes and tools

Experience with NMCI Enterprise Tool and RTAP Tool

Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI

Understanding of MAC request processing and SLA management

Ability to develop and document standard operating procedures

Training development and delivery skills

Strong coordination and communication skills for multi-stakeholder environments

Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management and refresh planning

Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • IAM II
  • Acceptable certifications include Security+, CAP, CASP+, or GICSP
