The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Solutions Architect focused on IT and Cybersecurity to support the design, development, and delivery of technical solutions for federal, defense, and national security customers. This role will help translate customer requirements into practical, secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across enterprise IT, cloud, cyber defense, infrastructure modernization, identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, and compliance-driven environments.

The Solutions Architect will work closely with program teams, business development, capture managers, proposal teams, engineering leads, cybersecurity SMEs, and customers to shape technical approaches that solve mission problems and align with CACI’s capabilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, strong communication skills, commitment to the mission, and the ability to support both solution development and proposal execution in a fast-paced environment.

This position is in Charleston, SC.

What You’ll Get to Do:
  • Serve as a liaison with government leads to enhance deliverable quality and turnaround.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues in collaboration with leadership.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and initiatives.
  • Lead Agile activities including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Release Reviews.
  • Manage project deliverables, schedules, subcontractors, budget, and risk.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and status reviews with stakeholders.
  • Actively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.Ensure work is performed with reasonable quality, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:

The Solutions Architect will support solutioning and program execution activities by:

  • Developing technical solution concepts for IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and managed services opportunities.
  • Translating customer requirements, operational needs, and performance objectives into clear technical approaches.
  • Working with SMEs to define architectures that incorporate cybersecurity, enterprise IT operations, cloud services, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, data protection, automation, and secure service delivery.
  • Supporting development and communication of solution differentiators, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assisting with teaming discussions.
  • Creating or contributing to architecture diagrams, CONOPS, workflows, service delivery models, and technical implementation roadmaps.
  • Supporting transition planning, change management, process improvement, and solution refinement.
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, and operations stakeholders to ensure solutions are executable, compliant, and appropriately resourced.
  • Maintaining awareness of customer-specific compliance requirements, as well as current and emerging IT and cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, federal standards, DoD policies, government modernization priorities, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • DoD Secret clearance with potential to upgrade to Top Secret.
  • Master’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in IT, cybersecurity, systems engineering, software development cycle, change and risk management, process improvement, or technical solution development.
  • Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or CompTIA Security+
  • Experience supporting federal, DoD, or regulated customer environments.
  • Ability to develop technical approaches, solution narratives, diagrams, and proposal content.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and federal compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity & Monitoring Tools: Splunk, Tenable, BigFix, Elastic.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Design Tools: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Illustrator, Tableau
  • Experience with Project Management and Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence, GitHub, PowerApps, PowerBI, ServiceNow, MS Project, Smartsheet
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
