As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will work with our IT Support and Compliance teams for both the US & Canada to improve the security posture of Amplifon Systems. You will manage relationships with Security Operation Center providers and implement security policies and controls to ensure systems comply with required regulations like HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2.
Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $120,000-$140,000.

Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Operations & Threat Management
  • Lead cybersecurity operations including threat detection, prevention, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and firewall reviews to protect enterprise systems and data.
  • Identify, remediate, and track security and compliance gaps, overseeing corrective action plans, remediation efforts, and documentation across the IT control portfolio.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Own IT security governance and compliance, managing policies, data privacy controls, and audit readiness for HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage vendor and third-party risk, including building and administering the OneTrust Vendor Risk Management platform and conducting annual security reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to support audits, customer security questionnaires, user access reviews, and security by design initiatives for new projects.

Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Compliance, and Systems Audits, with strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL, and PCI-DSS frameworks.
  • Hands-on security operations experience, including incident response, endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, web application firewalls (WAF), and device management.
  • Strong technical foundation in secure IT environments, covering infrastructure, networks, SDLC, and enterprise IT processes, with proficiency in compliance and audit support tools.
  • Proven experience working with vendors and clients, supporting security reviews, risk management activities, and audit engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP and/or CISA.
  • Healthcare regulatory experience (HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • Experience with Cloudflare, Burp Suite, Metasploit preferred.
  • Experience deploying and auditing Microsoft Mobile Device Management (Intune).
  • Strong core competencies in detail orientation and execution, communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving, and decision making.
