Cyber Security Remote Volunteers often contribute to a range of projects, such as monitoring networks for suspicious activity, assisting with vulnerability assessments, supporting incident response efforts, and creating educational materials on safe online practices. Depending on the organization’s needs, you may also help implement security patches, review security policies, or participate in simulated cyber-attack exercises. These tasks are usually performed in collaboration with IT staff or experienced security professionals, providing both learning opportunities and meaningful impact.
