In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Collaborate with the Product Security team to enhance cybersecurity across Emerson's product portfolio.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding practices.
  • Support efforts to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to secure software/firmware development.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations through persuasive writing and effective verbal communication.
  • Engage in empathetic thinking to understand user and stakeholder needs.
  • Learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a real-world product environment.
  • Work in a team-oriented setting and contribute to a collaborative culture.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Pursuing Bachelors in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of applicable experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Prior internship experience
  • An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of basic security concepts such as encryption, secure software development, and regulatory compliance
  • Student-level proficiency in a programming/scripting language such as C/C++, Python, PowerShell, etc.
