Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Facility Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. Join our team and contribute to the successful planning, execution, and management of critical facility projects that support operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed cost estimates for tactical facilities projects in accordance with PMBOK (ANSI/PMI 99-001-2017) and government-provided formats, systems, markups, and contingency guidance.
  • Prepare executive-level project summaries incorporating design concepts, cost estimates, and supporting documentation to communicate requirements to NAVFAC and other execution agents.
  • Maintain access and operate within Navy centralized systems, including iNFADS, EPG, GRX, and FRES.
  • Develop, submit, and track NAVFAC work permits for construction and SRM activities.
  • Research facility and infrastructure data; develop technical and planning documents; and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and guidance.
  • Perform data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting in support of facility planning and management in accordance with OPNAVINST 11010.20H and UFC 2-000-05N.
  • Maintain facility risk indices and monitor execution status of assigned projects.
  • Conduct special site surveys and inspections of buildings and structures, supporting assessments of structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems for ICAP condition reporting.
  • Generate project status reports and respond to data calls; support department coordinators with inventories and facilities-related documentation.
  • Conduct on-site facility assessments, surveys, and field investigations in varied and undeveloped environments to support feasibility analyses, project planning, and infrastructure development.
  • Perform field data collection in areas with limited access or existing infrastructure, documenting site conditions, environmental constraints, and potential impacts to proposed facilities.
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders to validate site conditions and ensure accurate incorporation of field findings into planning documents, cost estimates, and project recommendations.
  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated master schedules.
  • Participate in standing and ad hoc teams; attend meetings and provide weekly status updates on assigned actions.
  • Support data collection, compilation, and standardization for division- and branch-level reviews and conferences.
  • Assist with SOP development and revision; support corporate quality management initiatives and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Participate in Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and recommend process improvements for facilities and infrastructure operations.
  • Support records management processes and recommend efficiencies.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant technical or management discipline is required.
  • Preferred fields of study include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other closely related fields.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
