Job Summary:
Tighe & Bond is a federal government contractor supporting national priority programs, and they are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer. The role involves conducting cybersecurity assessments, recommending architectures, and providing systems administration for military applications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Participate in Cybersecurity assessments to include conducting residual risk analysis and compiling Risk Management Framework for DoD IT artifacts.
โ€ข Research and recommend cybersecurity architectures and procedures, providing advanced systems administration and executing cybersecurity vulnerability testing in mixed network environments.
โ€ข Participate in technical meetings, providing cybersecurity services and systems administration for military tactical/non-tactical, Electronics Support Measures suites and relational database applications.
โ€ข Provide input to monthly cyber security analysis reports.
โ€ข This position is a 100% on-site role.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology field or 3 years of military IT experience.
โ€ข DoD 8570.1-M Cybersecurity Technician Level II or III certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+/Network+, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and operating systems certification (e.g.). Microsoft Technology Professional, CompTIA Linux+ and Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA).
โ€ข Ability to obtain Secret level security clearance
โ€ข U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
โ€ข At least 3+ years' experience in Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework, and/or Information Technology/networks.
โ€ข Using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMass)
โ€ข Familiarity with information systems vulnerability scanning tools, e.g., DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Assured Compliance Assessment Reports Security Readiness Review (SRR) scripts, and implementation.
โ€ข MS Windows 10 and Server operating systems and UNIX/Linux, Solaris, VMware, Real-Time Operating Systems, routers, and embedded processor networking environments.
