Technology Intern

Reporting To: Director of Information Technology
Compensation: $18.00 / hour
Description
Gagosian is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Technology Department Intern to join our Fall Internship Program starting on September 10th through December 19th. In this role, you will work directly alongside our technology staff, gaining hands-on experience in cloud systems, AI implementation, cybersecurity practices, and core IT infrastructure.
You will assist in auditing our systems to streamline operations and improve overall tech efficiency, while also supporting daily IT operations and engineering initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Perform ongoing daily system and software audits to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for streamlining.
- Produce weekly audit reports detailing findings, realistic action plans, and key deliverables.
- Provide hands-on support for everyday technology needs, including processing and resolving user tickets via Zendesk.
- Participate in research, testing, and implementation of AI tools across the company's technology portfolio.
- Support engineering and infrastructure initiatives, including cloud-native capabilities and security upgrades.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications for the role
- Strong foundations in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Practical AI literacy and familiarity with cloud-native environments.
- Understanding of foundational cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
- Hands-on familiarity with hardware, basic networking, and cabling.
- Detail-oriented, strong analytical thinking for system audits, and a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting.
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.
Position Type
- 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
- Full-time or part-time flexibility (Minimum requirement: 3 full days per week).
- 100% in person.
- The internship program will run from September 10th - December 19th, 2026.
